Alongside our empathetic and knowledgeable support team, our dentists and clinical team are passionate about patient care, while providing effective and aesthetically pleasing dental treatments.
Dr Paul Boyle
Paul is the Principal Dentist and Practice Owner. Paul qualified in 2008 from Dundee Dental Hospital and School.
He has worked continuously at the practice since 2008, before taking over the running of the practice in 2018. Paul has been a general dentist for much of his time at Dunblane with vast experience in both restorative and cosmetic dentist. Paul now dedicates much of his time to more complex restorative cases and implant dentistry.
When not in the surgery, Paul loves spending time with his family and dogs. He is a keen fly fisherman and loves spending time in the great outdoors.
Seonaid Boyle
Seonaid is the co-owner of the practice. Having a long banking background, Seonaid is financial manager at the practice. She is friendly and outgoing, will always stop for a chat. When Paul and Seonaid took over the practice, Seonaid moved over from her role at the bank to support Paul. When not in work Seonaid spends time with Paul and their 2 kids, enjoying concerts and ghost walks.

Jen Allison
Jen has recently joined the practice in February 2023, but has worked in dentistry since 2009. Jen has a range of experience and qualifications, most recently completing the BSc in Dental Nursing and Dental Implant Nursing. She enjoys studying with a keen interest in education, treatment planning and patient care. Outside of work Jen is kept busy with her husband and 2 kids, enjoying days out, holidays, attending football matches and socialising with friends.
Angela Stewart
I have been at Dunblane Dental Practice for 14 years working on reception, being the first point of contact at the practice. I really enjoy meeting all the patients and making them feel welcome. I have gotten to know all the patients well over the years. I enjoy spending time with my family and grandchildren in my spare time. I also socialise with friends, go for meals, go to concerts and the theatre.

Dr Gabrielle Griffin
Gabrielle graduated from The University of Glasgow in 2013 and joined the team at Dunblane Dental Practice in early 2022. She is passionate about providing dental care of the highest quality. Gabrielle gained membership to the Faculty of Dental Surgeons in 2015 and is committed to keeping up to date with all the latest dental techniques and materials. She is trained in implant restorations and composite bonding, recently completing a course with BSOS in occlusion. Outside of work Gabrielle is kept busy with her two young children. She enjoys running, baking, and travelling.
Dr Daniel Benson
Dr Benson received his undergraduate dental degree from Semmelweis University, Budapest, Hungary in 2006.
After graduation Daniel completed a 3-year full-time residency in Operative Dentistry and Prosthodontics. Daniel’s thirst for knowledge led him to a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Implantology and Dental Surgery at the International Medical College, University of Muenster in Germany. He is a registered dentist in the UK, Ireland, and Hungary.
Daniel first moved to Edinburgh in 2009. Since 2012 he is only practicing in private practices.
His eye for details and passion for excellence in dentistry is well known amongst his colleagues and he regularly treat patients needing advanced rehabilitation on referral basis.

Dr Suzanne Berggren
Suzanne is an associate dentist with a special interest in Orthodontics. Suzanne qualified in Oslo University, Norway.
Suzanne has vast experience in all aspects of general dentistry but now focuses primarily on providing orthodontic treatment to patients at the practice. Suzanne has a particular interest in Invisalign and has a wealth of experience in this treatment.
Away from the practice she enjoys spending time with her family and her horse, Jack.

Andrew graduated from University of Glasgow 2016 and gained subsequent post graduate qualification of MFDS from Royal College of Surgeons and Physicians Glasgow.
Andrew has a keen interest in providing the most conservative and minimally invasive treatment to improve the lifespan of his patients’ teeth and reduce or delay the need for more invasive treatments. As a result, he has recently completed further training in managing occlusal issues and how the chewing forces affect teeth – which are surprisingly common place and often lead to broken teeth and muscle aches of the head and neck.
Out-with dentistry, I have a passion for the outdoors and often disappear skiing at the weekends in winter. I have also recently got back into golf, thanks to Paul entering the practice into a competition……plenty of improvement needed here for myself!

Dr Louise Magilton
Louise is a Dentist with practice limited to Endodontics and takes referrals from other Dentists for complex root canal treatments. She qualified from University of Dundee in 2016 and spent the subsequent two years working between general practice and hospital developing her skills in complex dentistry. Louise passed examinations and was admitted to the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow during this time.
Louise then practiced (and travelled!) in Australia for a year and on return she spent two years travelling to and from London completing training in Advanced Restorative and Aesthetic Dentistry. She practiced complex restorative Dentistry in England and Edinburgh for several years before shifting her focus to Endodontics.
Louise gets great satisfaction from being able to cure dental pain and disease and see the improvement in her patients wellbeing as their body heals after treatment. She takes great pride in having a ‘full body’ approach to patient care and spending time understanding her patients expectations and needs. Louise is currently completing her MSc Endodontology and when she is not doing root canal treatments she is usually found up North in her campervan or out running with her dog Willow.
Dr James Livingston
James qualified from Glasgow University with Honours in 2012 following the completion of degrees in both Chemistry and Dentistry. He completed his vocational training in Tarbert on the West Coast before moving East and continuing to work within General Dental Practice.
With a firm commitment to further training, he has completed the membership examination for the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow as well as courses in both implantology and orthodontics.
Outside of work James loves spending time with his family, tries to find time to make the most of Scotland’s landscape and is a keen photographer. James has made a great addition to the DDP team with his friendly outgoing personality. James is now accepting new orthodontic referrals and he cannot wait to welcome his new patients.

Dr Sara Findlay
Sara qualified from the University of Dundee in 2003 and has spent her years treating patients in general practice since.
Sara has completed postgraduate qualifications in advanced facial aesthetics including the use of PDO threads to provide non-surgical face and body lifting. Not only can Sara restore your smile but make you look 10 years younger too!
Sara has loved working with our fantastic team and is delighted to be back in Dunblane treating our wonderful patients. Sara loves treating everyone from our youngest patients to the oldest, looking to make every visit enjoyable. She always strives to provide gentle and comfortable dental treatments to the highest standard and takes pride in putting them instantly at ease and making their visit relaxing and pain-free.
Sara has a special interest in advanced restorative dentistry aiming to restore her patient’s smile and function again with the most advanced techniques available. Sara’s book is open to her previous local Denplan patients.
When not at work Sara loves traveling and spending time with her husband, 3 children, and their very energetic Labrador Cooper.
Louise Flavell
Louise graduated from the University of Dundee in 2015.
She gained post graduate qualification of MFDS from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons Glasgow.
Louise is interested in working closely with her patients to achieve the best outcomes.
She has additional qualifications in Aesthetic and Restorative Dentistry achieved in London, Louise is also trained in implant restorations.
Outside of work Louise enjoys paddleboarding with her dog and travelling.

Dr Komathy McBay
Komathy graduated from University of Malaya in 2005. After 3 years in general dental practice, she pursued Master’s in Clinical Dentistry (Oral Surgery) at University of Edinburgh. Following 3 years of clinical training, she passed MSurgDent which enabled her to register as a specialist in Oral Surgery.
Komathy has a wide range of experience, working in dental practices and dental hospitals over the past 19 years.
Komathy has been lucky to join the Dunblane Dental Practice team providing oral surgery related services. Komathy receives both internal and external referrals. At Dunblane Dental Practice, we work closely to provide best possible care to patients. Following oral surgery treatment, patients are then returned to their General Dental Practitioners for ongoing care.
Komathy provides dental extractions, surgical extractions, tooth exposure for orthodontic purposes, soft tissue surgery including biopsies, tongue- tie release to name a few. Intravenous sedation will be soon available in house for dental treatment. This is a great alternative for anxious patients.
Komathy has recently successfully complete Hypnotherapy qualification and looking to provide clinical hypnotherapy to patients. Watch this space……
Outside work, Komathy enjoys rock concerts and baking cakes.
Amber Jenkins
Amber qualified from the University of Highlands and Islands in 2012 with a Bsc in oral health science with distinction.
After a few years in Australia, Amber returned to Scotland and has worked in a variety of different practices from NHS, private and implant care. Amber has lectured across several Scottish universities; Glasgow Caledonian, Edinburgh and the University of the Highlands and Islands.
She is currently due to finish her post graduate qualification in academic practice in January 2024. Amber is passionate about behaviour change in patients and has a particular interest in advanced periodontal care and works closely with the practice principal to deliver exemplary periodontal care.
At the weekend you will find Amber on a long relaxing walk with her husband, daughter, and dog Ollie.

Karen Dickson
Karen qualified as a Dental Therapist in June 2020. She graduated from Glasgow Caledonian University with a BSC Oral Health Science degree with Merit.
In July 2021 Karen joined the practice here in Dunblane providing treatment for gum disease and routine hygiene. Additionally, Karen can provide restorative dental treatment for adults and children.
Karen enjoys all aspects of her role as a Dental therapist and finds it rewarding to do her job to a high standard.
She provides a personalised service with an empathetic and caring approach to motivate and encourage people to maintain their oral health. Karen works particularly well with anxious patients and children.
Outside dentistry, Karen enjoys spending time with her friends, and family, yoga & dance exercises, walking, exploring Scotland, and traveling to new destinations.
Suzi Stuart
Suzi joined the practice in May 1990 and qualified in 1992. Suzi is particularly interested in the periodontal and orthodontic side of dentistry. In Suzi’s spare time she enjoys attending football matches, formula 1, golf, going on holidays, and spending time with family and friends.

Laura Henderson
Laura started working with the practice in October 2021 as a trainee recently qualifying in June 2023 with a Dental Nursing Diploma. Laura enjoys baking, spending time with her partner, family and friends.

Lauren started at the practice in October 2021 and qualified in June 2023 with her SVQ in Dental Nursing. She enjoys working in the surgery and learning new skills. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with friends and family.

Ashley McLachlan
Ashley has been a dental nurse since 2002.
She enjoys working in the surgery and the challenges this can present. Ashley is looking forward to studying in different nursing qualifications.
In her free time she enjoys socialising with friends and family, going to the cinema, and attending gigs and festivals.

Anna started working at the practice in March 2022 as a Trainee Dental Nurse. Anna enjoys working in the surgery and learning new things. Anna started college to study Dental Nursing and in her spare time she enjoys going out with friends and watching movies.
