Alongside our empathetic and knowledgeable support team, our dentists and clinical team are passionate about patient care, while providing effective and aesthetically pleasing dental treatments.
Dr Paul Boyle
Paul is the Principal Dentist and Practice Owner. Paul qualified in 2008 from Dundee Dental Hospital and School.
He has worked continuously at the practice since 2008, before taking over the running of the practice in 2018. Paul has been a general dentist for much of his time at Dunblane with vast experience in both restorative and cosmetic dentist. Paul now dedicates much of his time to more complex restorative cases and implant dentistry.
When not in the surgery, Paul loves spending time with his family and dogs. He is a keen fly fisherman and loves spending time in the great outdoors.
Seonaid Boyle
Seonaid is the co-owner of the practice and plays a key role as the Financial Manager. With a strong background in banking, she brings valuable expertise and experience to the running of the practice.
When Seonaid and Paul took over the practice, she transitioned from her role in banking to support the business full-time. Known for her friendly and outgoing nature, Seonaid always enjoys taking the time to chat with patients and help create a welcoming environment.
Outside of work, Seonaid enjoys spending time with Paul and their two children, as well as attending concerts and going on ghost walks.

Jen Allison
Jen joined the practice in February 2023 and has been working in dentistry since 2009, bringing a wealth of experience to the team. She holds a range of qualifications such as completing a BSc in Dental Nursing as well as a qualification in Dental Implant Nursing.
Jen has a keen interest in education, treatment planning, and delivering high-quality patient care, and particularly enjoys continuing her professional development.
Outside of work, Jen is kept busy with her husband and two children. She enjoys days out, holidays, attending football matches, and socialising with friends.
Angela Stewart
Angela has been part of the team at Dunblane Dental Practice for 14 years, working on reception as the first point of contact for patients. She takes great pride in creating a warm and welcoming environment and enjoys getting to know patients, helping them feel at ease when they visit the practice.
Over the years, Angela has built strong relationships with many patients, which she finds one of the most rewarding aspects of her role.
Outside of work, Angela enjoys spending time with her family and grandchildren, as well as socialising with friends, going out for meals, and attending concerts and the theatre.
Angela Stewart

Claire McKenzie
Claire joined the admin team at the practice in November 2025. She has a strong administrative background and over 14 years experience as a registered staff nurse. Her healthcare career has equipped her with excellent organisational skill, attention to detail and a calm professional approach to patient care. She takes pride in creating a welcoming and efficient front of house experience while supporting the wider clinical team.
Outside of work Claire is an enthusiastic dog lover and enjoys spending time outdoors. She has completed the West Highland Way fives times and is currently preparing for her sixth one!
Dr Daniel Benson
Dr Benson received his undergraduate dental degree from Semmelweis University, Budapest, Hungary in 2006.

Dr Komathy McBay
Komathy graduated from University of Malaya in 2005. After 3 years in general dental practice, she pursued Master’s in Clinical Dentistry (Oral Surgery) at University of Edinburgh. Following 3 years of clinical training, she passed MSurgDent which enabled her to register as a specialist in Oral Surgery.
Komathy has a wide range of experience, working in dental practices and dental hospitals over the past 20 years.
Komathy has been lucky to join the Dunblane Dental Practice team providing oral surgery related services. Komathy receives both internal and external referrals. At Dunblane Dental Practice, we work closely to provide best possible care to patients. Following oral surgery treatment, patients are then returned to their General Dental Practitioners for ongoing care.
Komathy provides dental extractions, surgical extractions, tooth exposure for orthodontic purposes, soft tissue surgery including biopsies, tongue- tie release to name a few. She also offers intravenous sedation in house for dental treatment. This is a great alternative for anxious patients.
Komathy has recently successfully completed her Hypnotherapy qualification and looking to provide clinical hypnotherapy to patients.
Outside work, Komathy enjoys rock concerts and baking cakes.
Dr Louise Magilton
Louise is a Dentist with practice limited to Endodontics and takes referrals from other Dentists for complex root canal treatments. She qualified from University of Dundee in 2016 and spent the subsequent two years working between general practice and hospital developing her skills in complex dentistry. Louise passed examinations and was admitted to the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow during this time.
Louise then practiced (and travelled!) in Australia for a year and on return she spent two years travelling to and from London completing training in Advanced Restorative and Aesthetic Dentistry. She practiced complex restorative Dentistry in England and Edinburgh for several years before shifting her focus to Endodontics.
Louise gets great satisfaction from being able to cure dental pain and disease and see the improvement in her patients wellbeing as their body heals after treatment. She takes great pride in having a ‘full body’ approach to patient care and spending time understanding her patients expectations and needs. Louise is currently completing her MSc Endodontology and when she is not doing root canal treatments she is usually found up North in her campervan or out running with her dog Willow.

Dr James Livingstone
James qualified from Glasgow University with Honours in 2012 following the completion of degrees in both Chemistry and Dentistry. He completed his vocational training in Tarbert on the West Coast before moving East and continuing to work within General Dental Practice.
With a firm commitment to further training, he has completed the membership examination for the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow as well as courses in both implantology and orthodontics.
Outside of work James loves spending time with his family, tries to find time to make the most of Scotland’s landscape and is a keen photographer. James has made a great addition to the DDP team with his friendly outgoing personality. James is now accepting new orthodontic referrals and he cannot wait to welcome his new patients.
Dr Gabrielle Griffin
Gabrielle graduated from The University of Glasgow in 2013 and joined the team at Dunblane Dental Practice in early 2022. She is passionate about delivering high-quality dental care and is committed to providing the best possible outcomes for her patients.
Gabrielle gained Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgeons in 2015 and is dedicated to continuing her professional development, keeping up to date with the latest techniques and materials. She is trained in implant restorations and composite bonding, and has recently completed further training in occlusion.
Outside of work, Gabrielle is kept busy with her two young children. She enjoys running, baking, and travelling.

Dr Andrew Loudon
Andrew graduated from the University of Glasgow in 2016 and went on to achieve his postgraduate qualification, MFDS, from the Royal College of Surgeons and Physicians of Glasgow.
He has a keen interest in providing conservative, minimally invasive dentistry to help improve the long-term health of his patients’ teeth and reduce or delay the need for more complex treatments. As part of this, Andrew has undertaken further training in occlusion, focusing on how bite forces can affect teeth—an often overlooked factor that can lead to issues such as tooth wear, fractures, and muscle discomfort in the head and neck.
Outside of dentistry, Andrew has a passion for the outdoors and enjoys skiing at the weekends during the winter months. He has also recently returned to golf, although he admits there is still plenty of room for improvement!
Dr Rachel Steel
Rachel graduated from The University of Glasgow in 2013 and recently joined the practice in July 2025.
She is a highly experienced General and Cosmetic Dentist who has worked nationwide across both National Health Service (NHS) and private dental practices. With a broad clinical background and years of hands-on experience, Rachel has had the privilege of caring for patients from diverse communities throughout the country.
In addition to general dentistry, Rachel has a strong focus on cosmetic dentistry and facial aesthetic treatments, offering patients a comprehensive approach to enhancing both oral health and facial harmony providing natural and flawless results.
Known for a gentle and compassionate approach, Rachel is deeply committed to patient care, taking time to listen, educate, and build trusting relationships. One of Rachel’s main focus is ensuring every patient feels comfortable, respected, and confident in their care.
Outside of work Rachel enjoys keeping busy by playing squash, trying new foods with friends and salsa dancing.

Dr Ailsa Woodley
Ailsa joined the practice October 2025, she graduated with honours from her BDS at the University of Glasgow in 2015. After graduating, Ailsa gained experience in hospital and community dental roles within the NHS and completed a post graduate qualification of MFDS from the Royal College of Surgeons and Physicians Glasgow. Alongside her role here at Dunblane Dental Practice, Ailsa has a position at the University of Glasgow as a Clinical Teaching Fellow and is involved in the teaching and supervision of undergraduate dental students.
Ailsa has worked in various jobs both within Scotland and in New Zealand before deciding to move to the local area to be closer to her family and where she grew up.
Ailsa is known for her calm and approachable manner. She is committed to providing high quality and patient centred care for her patients.
Outside of work Ailsa enjoys spending time with her family (and entertaining her young son), baking, skiing, and playing tennis.
Dr Louise Flavell
Louise graduated from the University of Dundee in 2015.
She gained post graduate qualification of MFDS from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons Glasgow.
Louise is interested in working closely with her patients to achieve the best outcomes.
She has additional qualifications in Aesthetic and Restorative Dentistry achieved in London, Louise is also trained in implant restorations.
Outside of work Louise enjoys paddleboarding with her dog and travelling.

Erika Myles
Erika graduated in 2011 from Glasgow Dental School with Merit. Erika is new to the practice but not to dentistry having more than 25 years experience, 15 years of this working as a dental therapist.
In addition to dental therapist services at the practice, Erika is qualified in anti-wrinkle injections. Outside of work you will find Erika at the gym, attending concerts, travelling with her husband and walks with her dog Frankie.
Amber Jenkins
Amber qualified from the University of Highlands and Islands in 2012 with a Bsc in oral health science with distinction.
After a few years in Australia, Amber returned to Scotland and has worked in a variety of different practices from NHS, private and implant care. Amber has lectured across several Scottish universities; Glasgow Caledonian, Edinburgh and the University of the Highlands and Islands.

Karen Dickson
Karen qualified as a Dental Therapist in June 2020. She graduated from Glasgow Caledonian University with a BSC Oral Health Science degree with Merit.
In July 2021 Karen joined the practice here in Dunblane providing treatment for gum disease and routine hygiene. Additionally, Karen can provide restorative dental treatment for adults and children.
Karen enjoys all aspects of her role as a Dental therapist and finds it rewarding to do her job to a high standard.
She provides a personalised service with an empathetic and caring approach to motivate and encourage people to maintain their oral health. Karen works particularly well with anxious patients and children.
Outside dentistry, Karen enjoys spending time with her friends, and family, yoga & dance exercises, walking, exploring Scotland, and traveling to new destinations.
Suzi Stuart
Suzi joined the practice in May 1990 and qualified as a Dental Nurse in 1992, bringing decades of experience to the team. She has a particular interest in periodontal and orthodontic dentistry and enjoys supporting patients through these areas of treatment.
Suzi’s knowledge and friendly approach help to create a comfortable and reassuring experience for patients.
Outside of work, Suzi enjoys attending football matches, following Formula 1 and golf, going on holidays, and spending time with family and friends.
Suzi Stuart
Suzi joined the practice in May 1990 and qualified as a Dental Nurse in 1992, bringing decades of experience to the team. She has a particular interest in periodontal and orthodontic dentistry and enjoys supporting patients through these areas of treatment.

Ashley McLachlan
Ashley joined the practice in July 2022 and has been working as a dental nurse since 2002, bringing a wealth of experience to the team. She is the practice’s Clinical Supervisor, where she plays a key role in maintaining high standards of patient care and supporting the clinical team.
Ashley enjoys working in the surgery and thrives on the variety and challenges the role can bring. She further enhanced her skills by completing her dental radiography qualification in September 2024.
Outside of work, Ashley enjoys socialising with friends and family, going to the cinema, and attending gigs and festivals.
Lauren Jenkins
Lauren joined the practice in October 2021 and achieved her SVQ in Dental Nursing in June 2023. She has since furthered her qualifications by completing her dental radiography certification in July 2025, and is due to begin her Dental Sedation Nursing course in the coming months.
Lauren particularly enjoys assisting our implant surgeon with complex cases and is passionate about working in the surgery while continuing to develop her clinical skills.
Outside of work, Lauren enjoys spending time with friends and family, going to the gym, and taking her dogs out for walks.

Mia Goodge
Mia joined the practice in November 2023 and qualified as a Dental Nurse in September 2021.
She enjoys working closely with our endodontist and implant surgeon, assisting with complex and advanced procedures. In particular, Mia has a keen interest in endodontics, supporting patients through treatments such as root canal therapy and helping to ensure they feel comfortable and at ease throughout their visit. She is also responsible for managing the practice’s social media.
Outside of work, Mia is a competitive tenor drummer in a grade 1 pipe band Police Scotland Fife. She also teaches at a local pipe band, works in her local chippy, and enjoys travelling and spending time with friends.
Hayley Abercrombie
Hayley joined the practice in October 2024 and brings over 20 years of experience as a dental nurse.
After qualifying in general dentistry, she progressed into orthodontics, where she has worked for the past 18 years. During this time, Hayley has gained additional qualifications in dental radiography and impression taking, further enhancing her clinical expertise.
Hayley enjoys working closely with patients throughout their orthodontic journey, helping to create positive experiences and confident smiles.
Outside of work, Hayley enjoys socialising, travelling, walking, and spending quality time with her husband and two children.
Hayley Abercrombie
Hayley joined the practice in October 2024 and brings over 20 years of experience as a dental nurse.

Anna Leask
Anna joined the practice in March 2022 as a Trainee Dental Nurse and successfully achieved her Dental Nurse qualification the start of 2025. She enjoys working in the general surgery and alongside the orthodontist and is always keen to learn new skills and expand her knowledge.
In her spare time, Anna enjoys travelling, socialising with friends, going to the gym, and watching movies.
Chloe Dickie
Chloe became a qualified dental nurse in June 2023 and joined the practice in August 2023.
Chloe’s interest within dentistry is working alongside our Oral surgeon. She enjoys supporting patients through treatment and helping to ensure they feel comfortable and at ease throughout their visit. She is due to begin her Dental Sedation Nursing course in the coming months.
In Chloe’s spare time she enjoys spending time with her young family, cooking and renovating her house.

Laura joined the practice in October 2021 as a Trainee Dental Nurse and went on to achieve her Dental Nursing Diploma in June 2023.
She enjoys working as part of the team and continuing to build her skills within the practice.
Outside of work, Laura enjoys baking and spending time with her partner and her young family.
Emma Crosbie
Emma joined the practice in February 2024 as a Trainee Dental Nurse and has recently achieved her SVQ in Dental Nursing.
She enjoys working closely with patients, helping to ensure a smooth, comfortable, and positive experience within the surgery.

Tanisha MacFarlane
Tanisha started at the practice in February 2025. Tanisha is one of our most recent trainee dental nurses at the practice and recently achieved her Dental Nursing qualification in May 2026
Tanisha is keen and eager to learn more about dentistry and has been getting lots of experience working alongside our clinical and admin team.
Out with work Tanisha likes taking her dog on walks and seeing her friends.
Rhianna Underwood
Rhianna recently joined the practice November 2025. Rhianna is one of our newest trainee dental nurses and she has been enjoying learning about dentistry, getting to know the team and all the patients.
Outside of work you’ll usually find her watching films, enjoying games night or ticking off countries of her travel bucket list.
